[shadow=red,left,300]Hey guys!
Well I wanted to have your opinion on people who get tattooed Chester`s tattoos.... Do you think it`s a bit too much or it`s a way to say they appreciate him.... These are just suggestions but I would like to know what you think. [/shadow]For my part, I think a tattoo is very personnal. I could understand when people really like famous people and they wanna do theame but still, a tattoo should be personnal. I`m not saying they are weirds for doing it.... but I think it would be better to maybe get the general idea of Chester`s tattoo and make it your own desing. But on the other hand, I really don`t know if I was Chester, if I would be pleased with that. Like I said a tattoo is very personnal and seing the very same tattoo on somebody else when yours is suppos to unique... I mean a heart will always have the same hape no matter what and you will never have the heart twice, I know that... but let says seing my tattoo on somebody else would be a bit weird. LOL Well anybody can get my tattoo cause I got the idea from a movie. But seing the same shape, colors, same place.... I don`t know??[shadow=red,left,300] What DO YOU THINK about these fans??? [/shadow] Take care!!! Sweet

I am with you Sweet. I wouldn't get a tattoo anyway because I just was raised that way lol BUT if I did I would be soooooooooooooo careful on what I picked it to be and it would be very personal. I can't imagine being 70 years old and look down at an old wrinkled Chester face on my skin lol! That'd be weeird. Also if someone got my face put on them I'd been a little freaked I think, but that's just me. And I totally don't judge anyone who has a tattoo like that or anything. Just my personal opinion.

He asked them to sign on him and then he went to get it tattooed....My tattoo symbolize Love.... I also wanna get my famous phrase tattooed on the ribs, it`s from Shakepears.... My only love sprung from my only hate....Too early seen unknown, and known too late. It`s from a movie. Can you guess with one! Take care!! See ya! Sweet

Sweet where is that quote from? I have only watched like one Shakespeare movie in my whole life more than once lol. It does sound familiar though.... That guy who got the tattoos of their signatures, is he the one that Joe signed him on the arm where it would hurt when he got the tattoo lol? I get what you are saying now lol. Sorry. I do know some people who has a few tattoos of his face though hehe. I wouldn't anyone to copy my personal tattoos. It would bug me.

clearly not. i think it's really dumb if someone copies your tattoo, espacially if it's a really extraordinary tattoo... sure, if you got a star or something like that, what everyone has, than i think it's okay if you want it that way. but... what i mean is for example these arms chester got on his back.. or yes. you know what i mean...
for myself, i want a tattoo when i'm 18, but i don't really know what. i have an idea, but not a proper idea... i'll work that out with my tattoo artist... but i want something really personal. something, i don't see on other people skins.

yep. Tattoo should be a part of us, should suit to what we represent. Chester have his tatoos and he can explain what every of them means to him. person who just admire him and wants to have something exactly like his idol has very weak explanation besides-i dont think if Chester's tatoos would look on someone else as great as on him

yeah tattoos are really personal, cuase I guess they show who you are...people should find their own style and, you know, be more genuine/original

Chester actually mentioned this in the etnies interview: RB: Fair enough. I read somewhere that I guess, Sean or someone was saying that grips of people come here to get the same tattoos as you, like on your wrists. . .
CB: (Laughs) Yeah. . .
RB: I was just wondering how you felt about that, is it flattering?
CB: Well, imitation is one of the greatest forms of flattery; it’s a compliment. But at the same time, there’s a lot of people with flames on their wrists, it’s not like I was the first dude to get fire on my arms. But I specifically got, like, I went to this dude, who was really good at the hot rod thing, and I was like, just make them unique and really cool so they don’t look like little flames or tribal thing. He was like, “Alright, dude, I’ve been working on this new one!” And he actually had been working on this new flame style, and he’s like, “I’m gonna do it!” so he drew them on, and I was like, “Awesome!” And I loved how they were really long and kind of flickering up my arm, and it didn’t really look like the typical flames, and that’s what I liked about it. So, when I see kids come up and say, “Dude, I got your flames!” I’m just like, “Aaaah!” Now they’re not mine anymore, now they’re like somebody else’s. But, you know, that’s part of the tattoo world too, you’re gonna see something that you like and you’re gonna go, “Dude, I like this. I want that.” You know? But, it’s cool, dude, no one’ll ever have exactly what I got. That’s kind of dope.

I'm not even famous but I loved my design so much that as soon as I got my tat, I got rid of the design xD.... I wouldn't like to see it on somebody else because it means something to me.
I don't know... I wouldn't get a Chester tattoo and I love that man more than anything else xD.

Even from his answer we can see that he is not suprised that lots of people have tattoos looking such as his... personally i would never ask somebody to make for me tattoo looking just like Chester's and then show him this-no matter how good it would be it always be just imitation his tattoos... and in the end we have '10000' Chesters walking down the street hahahaha

I'm obviously addicted to tattoos...but I think it's lame and unimaginitive to copy Chester's tattoos. Especially, if they don't mean anything to you, other than being Chester's tattoos. I mean, like his flames. He got these because he was born on the cusp of aries and *gestures* the whole sign thing....and people get them done just because they look really cool and are on Chester-of-Linkin-Park's arms. Come on, people. Get tattoos done. Hell, have your whole body covered in ink, but seriously....make it a little special and don't be a copy-cat. Obviously, I have three LP logos inked on me and anyone can do that, in fact a lot of people already have...but the two, where I have lyrics next to the logo, I designed myself and destroyed the designs after I had them done. The arrow is just my way of saying 'dedicated for life'. I thought about getting the guys to sign on my back, for the MnG and then get it inked...but I came to my senses and thought that would just be a little -too- weird. I may be LP/CB-insane and ink-addicted....but sometimes, I -do- think straight, lol.

To have the exact same thing as Chester has might be going just that bit OTT but it's a persons choice after all, I think if someones gonna get tattooed it should def be personal, or something you believe in, like my unicorn! And my kids initials. Design your own or have a good long think about what you want if yr gonna get one cos it will be with you til the day you die. Ooohhh and the quote is from Romeo and Juliet, that is a really cool thing to have tattooed. ;D

I want his signature in ink, but I'd take it out of the internet not ask him to sign my back or anything, am I insane for wanting his sig? hehehe. I always wanted to get the name "Chester" tattooed on my lower back (where my star is) because I'm known as Chester, not because CHESTER itself because I'm known as Chester too, I even got a temporary tattoo once that said Chester and thought it was the coolest thing ever hahaha. But then I thought a signature would be better, and ours looks very similar (I got a thrill when I found out xD) so... I'd probably get his signature (as John Lennon's and Paul McCartney's too) or the LP logo, but that's quite common now. After all I want something original xD

Lol, Marie. Don't get me wrong. To each their own. But I thought about having his signature on my body as opposed to on something, he and the guys signed and I figured that I'd rather have it in a frame because then I can show it to people without getting naked, lmao! I don't know, really. I just thought it'd be weird, just as getting his face inked on my body...but yeah, to each their own.
