We have noticed a lot of new fans coming to the JK message board,
Myspace, YouTube - anything JK.
Many of you already know this, but this is for our new fans:
We do not plan on releasing a record this year - and yes, the album is
done. We do plan to tour extensively before trying to release a major
record. We do plan on touring Europe soon (to answer all the Euro
interest questions). Projekt Revolution was our first tour, so we have
a
lot more work ahead of us. In all, we have only played a handful of
shows EVER as Julien-K.
Regarding music:
If you look around the net, you can find 3 full songs that will be on
the album (Technical Difficulties, Kick The Bass, Death 2 Analog) .
Please feel free to rip them and do with them as you please. You may
find some more obscure songs if you look hard enough (the Sonic songs
are the most common - but those were not serious JK songs - we did
those
for fun).
You WILL know when we release an album. It will be released worldwide.
We are keeping details of the release secret - all details. We very
seldom (if ever) do press, by design. We are not, at the moment, doing
anything at all to try to "promote our band". Any and all interest has
been generated solely by playing live, and from the small group of Orgy
fans who discovered a few years ago that we had formed Julien-K (we
have
not as of yet overtly tried to acquire Orgy's fans, although we
appreciate the one's that have discovered us).
We are privileged to have you as fans, and thrilled that you have only
seen us live and are as interested as you have shown yourselves to be.
Look forward to more episodic content (video, etc) as we continue to
tour - and thank you for joining the growing Julien-K legions - you are
among the first!
